Welcome to the Social Studies Department Home Page!
The Social Studies Department faculty is: Dave Gingras, Nate Cooper, Heidi Paris (Curriculum Facilitator), Dennis Perreault and Justin Ballou, .

The humanities are the study of what people think, feel, do, and create; it is the study of being human. The Campbell High School humanities curriculum combines what is typically taught in high school English and Social Studies courses. Each course uses literature and the arts to enhance the study of a historical time period. Both disciplines demand extensive reading, writing, speaking, and researching. In grades nine through eleven, the courses are two credits each because these courses meet twice as often, ninety minutes per day all year (as compared to every other day in a one-credit course). Community and the Individual, American Studies, and World Studies are team taught by social studies teachers and English teachers.
