Title I ( 8 Files )
Title I is a federally funded program intended to provide supplemental tutoring services to students in the areas of literacy and mathematics. Students are selected based upon academic need and available resources. This page provides a variety of information about Title I services and procedures for the Litchfield School District.
Under Title I, Supplemental Educational Services (SES) are provided to students who qualify under free and reduced lunch requirements in schools designated as In Need of Improvement. Letters are sent to families of qualifying students. The amount of federal funding determines the number of students and the individual allotment for tutoring by out of district providers. The provider list can be found in the document below labelled SES Selection Form.
If you have questions or comments, please contact Dr. Julie Heon, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Federal Projects Manager: jheon@litchfieldsd.org or 578-3570 ext. 3332.
