Hello Parents & Guardians,

Hello, and I bring news from the snowy Northeast, As of this writing, it appears we will be making it through a day of school for only the second day in the last six school days.

Speaking of those challenges, we have missed on several opportunities to inform students or parents of our programs. One of concern to parents of sophomores was the opportunity for them to meet during the school day with Pinkerton and Alvirne CTE representatives about their programs. Due to tight course selection constraints, we do not have time to fit these in. Students do have the opportunity to pick up information from the Counseling Office, so please advise your children to head there if they have interest in these valuable programs.

So all of you are aware, our students will be selecting courses for 2017-18 over the next few weeks in our extended advisories. Juniors will be doing their course selections tomorrow, Wednesday, Feb 15. On a different note, we just announced our Student of the Month for February, and it is senior Harrison Vedrani, and our Star of the Month is Liberty Pelletier. Congratulations to both of them. One reminder before I close that the PTO will be meeting this evening, February 14, at 6:30 in the CHS Library.
