Litchfield School District News Article

May 8, 2017

Hello Parents & Guardians,

Thanks to the students who joined us at our Faculty Meeting last week for Springfest and to present on FIRST Robotics. Also, I want to encourage support for the Class of 2017 fundraiser at the 99 Restaurant on South Willow Street on May 11 from 5-8 pm. Check in with the CHS office for more information on this, and good luck to the seniors in this pursuit (information is attached).

Thank you to the PTO for that great salad & baked potato buffet luncheon at the Start of “Teacher Appreciation Week” last Monday. That was a nice way to come back from April break and to start the final stretch. Advanced Placement testing continues this week at CHS in multiple disciplines.

We have a number of staff participating in the District’s Candidate Review Teams for the Business Agent & Curriculum Coordinator, and we appreciate their dedication and commitment to this process so the Litchfield School District can continue delivering the outstanding education that we do. Work continues on the Master Schedule, and we are at almost 93% complete. Hopefully in the next week or so we can meet complete the majority of that task.

Have a great week everyone!

Bill Lonergan, Principal
