Hello Parents & Guardians,
Happy 2017 to all as we move toward closing out the first semester at CHS in the next few weeks. I would like to say thank you to the entire CHS staff, students, and families as well as the larger Litchfield community for all the support through the holiday break. I took several days off last week to take care of some family concerns, and it is good to be back in school and working with students and staff.

ALL STUDENTS:
· Semester 2 begins on Mon, January 23rd. Please review your schedule on Infinite Campus and see a counselor if you have questions.
· This Thursday, January 5th, 2017 the National Honors Society will be hosting a blood drive. It will be held at Campbell High School in the gymnasium from 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm.
· Mid-terms/Final exams will be given January 17–20th. This means there are only 8 days of school (after today) before midterms/finals.
JUNIORS:
· Junior College Information Night (for students and parents) will be held on Tues, February 21st at 6:30pm in the auditorium.
· All juniors will take the SAT exam during the school day on Wed, April 5th. More information will be sent closer to the testing date.
SENIORS:
· Please file your FAFSA as soon as possible! https://fafsa.ed.gov/ Please also check with your individual colleges to see if they require you to complete the CSS Profile as well (https://student.collegeboard.org/css-financial-aid-profile).
· Local scholarships become available in early March. Links to National Scholarships are available on your Naviance homepage.
