Hello, while last week was again shortened, we were still very active at CHS. Our PTO was helping out greatly feeding teachers during Parent Teacher Conferences. We are so appreciative of that support. Speaking of PTC’s, many of our teachers had full schedules last Thursday afternoon and Friday. We appreciate your investment and collaboration supporting your children at CHS. On a different note, while we are challenged by the recent resignation of one teacher, our science teachers are ably filling in as we actively interview candidates and pursue an appropriate long-term solution. Also, winter sports have begun their practices in preparation for their season. We are wishing all players and coaches well The CHS administration will be meeting with the Litchfield Budget Committee on December 1 at 7:00 pm to discuss our proposed 2017-18 budget. Any input and support would be appreciated at that meeting. Finally, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, I am so grateful to work with such committed and inspirational educators to support so many terrific students and their families across SAU 27.
