Hello
Parents & Guardians, Between
8th Grade Parents Night, bringing in a guest-speaker Ryan Fowler to speak to
freshmen, juniors, and seniors (sophomores were working on their course
selections), and our Administration/Parent Coffee (with 14 parents in attendance!)
on Tuesday evening, last week was a busy one here at CHS. We appreciate
the contributions of our Curriculum Facilitators and Team Leader, as well as
the school counselors but particularly that of students, Emily Coughlin, Travis
Tucker, and Catie Callinan for your time and advice at 8th Grade Parent’s Night
on Tuesday. On Tuesday of this week, CHS counselors will be going to LMS
to work with incoming 8th-grade students on course selections, and our current
9th-grade students will be entering their course selections on Wednesday.
Looking further out, CHS will be hosting a Junior/Parent College
Information Night at 6:30 on Thursday, March 8th in the CHS
auditorium. This is a date change due to scheduling conflicts so please
take note. We are waiting for news from the School Board as far as an
announcement on the new Superintendent decision. Hopefully, that will
come this week. As next week is February Break, we will not be sending
out a Weekly Update then. Have a great couple of weeks everyone!
Bill Lonergan, Principal
