Hello
Parents & Guardians,
This
past Wednesday our juniors completed their required statewide testing, the SAT,
and those results will come during late spring. Our chorus and band students
competed in the Large Group Music Festival on Saturday. We also had our annual
Fashion Show Saturday with a terrific audience and strong student
participation.
This
week, we have a student field trip to MCC and NHTI to build student interest in
valuable trade/certification programs and college programs. We also have
students taking the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) which
qualifies students for certain military programs, but it also provides a nice
inventory of skills for students to make decisions on possible future careers
without obligating them to actually entering the military.
Litchfield
PD Officer Dave Donnelly spent his first week with us at CHS this past week,
and we are glad to have his presence in the building.
If
you are looking for a reason to go over to UNH in Durham this weekend, our
FIRST Robotics team will be competing on Friday and Saturday, so feel free to
stop by and wish them well.
Have
a great week everyone!
Bill
Lonergan, Principal
