Litchfield School District News Article

May 7, 2018

Hello Parents & Guardians,

Here we are in the first full week of May and lots is happening here at CHS.

First of all we’d like to thanks to our NHS students and Advisor Denise Freeman for their two days of picking up trash along Albuquerque last week.  Also, congratulations to Spanish teacher, Jen Watson,  for her being the May recipient of the CHS Golden Bell Award for her fine work coordinating the Spain trip over April break.

On an important note heading toward graduation, our Graduation Committee met last week for the first time, a little delayed as it was, but as a result of that planning meeting, parents of seniors this week will be receiving the annual mailing including the postcard with the end of the year activity schedule for seniors.  Thanks to former administrative assistant Cheri Pitrone for stepping back in to advise and assist.

Don’t forget that Senior Project presentations will take place on Thursday between 6-8:00 pm at CHS if you are interested in some of the exciting projects our senior completed in the past year.  And once again a reminder, if you are interested in being interviewed by the NEASC Visiting Committee team, we have spots available on Sunday, May 20 from 3:15-4:00 pm and Monday, May 21 from 10:45-11:30 am.  We would love to add your perspectives to the feedback provided to the committee.  Please contact Elana at  [email protected] or 546-0300 in the main office, and she will add you to the list.

Have a great week everyone!

Bill Lonergan, Principal
