Litchfield School District News Article

October 9, 2018

Hello Parents & Guardians,
I hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the long weekend.  We had a terrific “Career Fair” last week with over 40 presenters coming to CHS to share their work life and career possibilities with our students.  Thanks to all who assisted in this biennial endeavor, particularly Counseling Director, Jodi Callinan and parent volunteers, Sonia Costinos and Nathalie Hirte.  Our Future Business Leaders of America organization are attending their annual fall workshop today.  Don’t forget that our 9th-11th grade students will be undergoing school-wide PSAT assessments on Wednesday with an early release as the seniors will be out visiting colleges or job-shadowing.  Speaking of seniors, keep in mind for parents of seniors that Senior Project Proposals are due on Friday, Oct. 12.  We do have a PTO meeting Tuesday night at 6:00 in the Learning Commons at CHS and we would love to have your support for their annual “Pie Sale” fundraiser; see following link to complete and return to CHS main office: https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0?ui=2&ik=03435c136c&attid=0.0&permmsgid=msg-f:1613849019543441480&th=16658b21faffd048&view=att&disp=inline.  Have a great week everyone!  Bill Lonergan, Principal
