Litchfield School District News Article

May 29, 2018

Hello Parents & Guardians,
It is certainly with a sigh of relief that our NEASC visitation is officially over.  Now we wait for results to come over the next few months.
Thanks to all of the CHS staff, faculty, support, maintenance, SAU and parents/community for your support.  I think the Committee left with a special appreciation for our entire community.
A huge congratulations goes out to social studies teacher Justin Ballou for being awarded the Christa M Sabbatical Award for the state of NH.  His work with technology and instruction and assessment will be cutting edge as he undertakes the sabbatical in 18-19.
Last week was a very busy week at CHS given the NEASC alone, but our fifth annual Pantene program was a great success along with SpringFest run by Student Council.  Our music students did a fine job with their Spring Concert as well as the Memorial Day parade here in town under the direction of Jill Pennington and Carolyn Leite.
Congratulations to the boy’s Track and Field team for their 1st place, state championship win!
Please make sure you look at the calendar of events as we are closing in on graduation on the 15th and there a much occurring between now and then including 8th Grade Step Up Day, NH Scholars Celebration with the Fisher Cats, and Spring Sports Awards.
Have a great week everyone!
Bill Lonergan, Principal
