Litchfield School District News Article

January 28, 2019

Hello Parents & Guardians,
CHSCostinos, & Sue Jozitis, and they met with Mike J, Mary W, and me last week to help provide support in moving some of our practices forward.  Their work identifying ways to support all CHS students is important and appreciated.  Just a couple of reminders looking ahead; we have a one day Challenge Day program occurring February 7 that will involve members of the school district administration, a number of CHS faculty and staff, about 100 of our students and some community members.  We are excited for students to understand how their appropriate behaviors contribute to the positive climate at CHS and also reduce bullying and harassment.  Also, we have a planned meeting Tues, Jan 29 during D block with Sophomores about Career and Technical Education opportunities at Pinkerton and Alvirne for next year and we have an extended advisory on January 30 for students to talk with teachers about course electives opportunities for next year.
Have a great week everyone!  Bill Lonergan, Principal
