Hello Parents & Guardians,

With the heavy snows playing havoc on our local elections, the teacher workshop day, and March’s PTO meeting, I freely admit I am tired of winter. Keep in mind town elections are going to be held at CHS from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, we will have school, and there will be a monitor at the hallway doors ensuring that voting and the school day proceed uninterrupted.

Also, the winter Sports Awards will be Thursday evening in the CHS Auditorium after being postponed from last week.  Speaking of last week, congratulations to Jill, Phil, and all the District music teachers on two entertaining concerts this past week.  I thoroughly enjoyed all the student performances, and it was fun to be included with the other District administrators.

Congratulations are due to Dala Johnson on being a finalist for the 2017 Fernald Prevost Mathematics Award. We had a number of our students attend the NHIAA Leadership conference on Thursday and Friday last week, and also Patrick Rochford was voted Speaker of the House at this past weekend’s Youth & Government conference. Thanks to advisor, Nate Cooper, for his work with the students in Concord. Finally, I want to recognize and thanks Computer Technology teacher Shawn McDonough and his wife Cathy for their terrific St. Patty’s Day meal on Friday.

 Have a great week everyone!

 Bill Lonergan, Principal
