Hello Parents & Guardians,
I was really excited last week when our administrative main office staff as a unit received the CHS Golden Bell Staff of the Month Award.  Congratulations to Terrie Taylor, Deb Harris, and Elana Ayer, and thanks for all your efforts supporting CHS students and staff.  I also wanted to express my appreciation to our daytime custodian, James Woods, who is a really valuable asset in so many areas of our building.  I do want to mention that we do have 8th Grade Parent Night in the auditorium on Tuesday.  If you have an incoming eighth-grade student, it is likely you have a sense of the things we cover, but it never hurts to check in and see what to expect the next time through.  We will be having a parent coffee in the library beforehand from 6:00-6:30 if you are interested in finding out how things are going in the rest of the school.  We are heavily into the course selection process with students, so please keep in touch with your children to see how it is going for them.  Have a great week, everyone!
