Hello Parents & Guardians,
First of all, we have begun semester 2 here at CHS as of
Thursday last week. Grades should be available on the parent portal by
Tuesday afternoon. I do want to express congratulations to two students
who graduated from L’Derry Night School: Lexi Rowlands and Hope
DeCarolis. We will be moving soon into the active part of the
course selection process soon. Please discuss their selections with your
children to make sure they are actively pursuing courses and programs of high
interest to them. We are welcoming music teacher Nathan Lamy to CHS
who will be splitting his time between CHS and LMS. We are excited to
have him with us this semester. Also, on one final note, please join us
Thursday evening as the School District hosts the three finalists for the
Superintendent position. The community “Meet & Greet” will occur at
CHS from 6:00-7:00 pm in the CHS Library, Music Room and on the Auditorium
Stage. Please join us, meet the three candidates, and help ensure
Litchfield selects the right candidate to lead our schools. Have a great

All Students:
- Report cards will be available on INFINITE CAMPUS today, Tues, Jan 30th after 3:30pm
- Juniors & Seniors who have requested and been approved for early release or late arrival may begin this schedule on Tues, Jan 30th. Please have your student look at his/her schedule in Infinite Campus to see if the request has been approved.
- The last day to change semester 2 classes is THIS Wed, Jan 31st @ 2:30pm
- As always, homework club is available Mon – Thursday from 2:30-3:30pm in the media lab for all students.
Seniors:
- Please bring copies of acceptance letters to Mrs. V
- Please look at Scholarships in Naviance (under Colleges tab). You can’t win if you don’t apply.
Juniors:
- Counselors have slowly begun to meet one-on-one for post-high school and senior year planning. This will continue through the end of February. Juniors who plan to attend a 4-year college should be planning college visits during the months of March, April & May (if possible).
- Junior College Information Night is Wed, March 7, 2018 at 6:30pm.
