A Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to the Litchfield School District.
There are three schools in the community of Litchfield that provide educational services to our students.
Griffin Memorial School, the oldest school in Litchfield, which was built in 1930, serves students in grades 1 - 4 as well as Special Education students in pre-school and kindergarten. Built in 1988, Litchfield Middle School serves students in grades 5 - 8.
Campbell High School, our newest school, which was built in 2000, serves students in grades 9 - 12.
During the 2007-2008 school year the student population is 1,650 students.

I would invite you to visit the individual websites for each school for detailed information about the curriculum, programs, bus schedules, activities, and contact information.

Volunteers and the community are an integral part of our school district. School volunteerism and a sense of community are important values for our students, their parents, and the community-at-large. I invite you to register at any school to share your talents and love of children.

Respectfully yours,

Elaine F. Cutler, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
