The Litchfield Building Committee ceased in 2009.  The Building Committee's purpose was to determine space needs in the Litchfield School District and recommend a solution to the Litchfield School Board.

The Grants, Donations, & Partnerships Committee is made up of community members, the Director of Curriculum & Instruction, and the Superintendent.  The Committee's purpose is to seek out donations, grants, or local partnerships to assist in funding student needs that are not budgeted.

The District Technology Committee's purpose is to review, evaluate, and determine the district's technology needs.  Recommendations for upgrades, replacements, and/or additions are made to the Litchfield School Board.

The District Wellness Committee's purpose is to monitor district wellness practices and enforcement of the Wellness Policy.

The PERC Committee is made up of parents, instructional staff, community members, students, and the Director of Curriculum & Instruction.  PERC's purpose is to review, evaluate, and recommend curriculum materials to the Litchfield School Board.

The Committee's purpose is to review, monitor, and assist in enforcing district methods in the prevention of drug and alcohol use by students.

The Litchfield Budget Committee is not appointed by the Litchfield School Board.  However, a member of the School Board is nominated to serve as the School Board Representative to the Budget Committee each year.  The Budget Committee's purpose is to review district and town budgets, determine the bottomline of each budget that is in the best interest of the taxpayers, and make recommendations to the School Board and Board of Selectmen.

The District Joint Loss Management Committee (Safety Committee) is made up of district staff members and principals.  The Safety Committee's purpose is to review and evaluate the safety of district property.
