An Invitation to all Parents,

At Griffin Memorial School parental involvement is encouraged and welcomed. Parents play an important role in contributing to the excellence of our school. The GMS PTO is the vehicle through which parents can become involved in their child(ren)’s educational process. No matter how much time you have to give or what talents you possess, we welcome any degree of commitment or support. The GMS PTO has a place for everyone!

The GMS PTO must rely on various fundraisers to reach our goals. In the past we have had one major fundraiser, our membership drive, raffles and the Fall Festival. With this money, we were able to provide several enrichment programs for the students, such as the Museum of Science Star Lab, Dinoman, and a variety of storytellers, authors, and entertainers. We have also supplemented the costs for field trips and teacher’s supplies. Finally, we end each year with a school gift.

We exist to provide a pleasant atmosphere for your child(ren)’s learning experience to take place through enrichment programs, volunteers, school beautification projects, and promotion of school pride. We hope you understand the importance of your support of the GMS PTO, whether by becoming a member, volunteering your time, sharing ideas with us or by supporting our fundraisers.
