September 3, 2019

Hello Parents & CHS Community,
As much as I enjoy the time during summer to catch up on professional development, hire new staff, and time for travel, family matters and work around the house, I love it when teachers and students are back in school!  It is so vibrant and so much gets done every single day.  I love that productivity and sense of purpose young people bring to our work.  It provides great optimism for the future.  Anyway, the building is in great shape thanks to Grounds and Maintenance staff, we are prepared with teaching supplies and schedules thanks to the office staff, and teachers are ready to go.  Our freshmen on Freshman Welcome Day met teachers and experienced their schedules and got the lay of the land.  Band members and athletics have been busy over the summer with camps, some students recovered through summer school, and students in many courses completed summer requirements (hopefully!).  So we are ready to start.
The 2020 yearbook is now available to purchase on Jostens.com for the lowest price of the year.   Order before September 27, 2019, to get the yearbook for $65.
For yourselves, please check the schedules below or explore the CHS website for opportunities for you to attend CHS events.  As a way of introducing opportunities for parents to contribute here at CHS, our PTO, Athletic Boosters, and Friends of the Performing Arts are holding an Open House to introduce themselves, all on one night in the CHS cafeteria on Sept 16.  We would love to see more of you regularly involved and supporting CHS student activities through these organizations.  Have a great week everyone! Bill Lonergan, Principal

Mon, Sept 9th is the last day to make schedule changes.
