This past week, we concluded our statewide SAT testing.  This was the first digital version of the test to be administered and approximately 30 high schools in the state chose like CHS to do the digital version. We are looking forward to results in the summer.  We took some time this week to show some appreciation for members of our staff including AP Mike Perez and to our administrative assistants for their contributions here at CHS.  We are switching to a new photography studio at CHS and contracting with Hockmeyer Studios who also does LMS and GMS.  More information will be coming on this in the next few weeks, particularly for members of the junior class and their parents about senior photos.     Last week’s 2 hr delay was extremely productive with three topics covered: credit recovery, late work, and Code of Ethics & Code of Conduct.  I mentioned previously our Graduation Committee met last week, and we are in great shape moving forward.  Parents of Seniors should be seeing more information coming to you this week through a Blackboard as well as a postcard reminder of upcoming events.  We have announced final exam dates for underclassmen.  They will occur June 14, block A & B, June 17, block C & D, June 18, block E and F, and June 19, block G& H.  Congratulations to Catriona Chew for placing second in the state-wide Vet Science competition and to the Alvirne Vet Science team for placing first overall.  They move onto the national competition later next month.  Don’t forget we do have a Coffee with the Administration this Wednesday at 7:00am in the CHS Learning Commons.  Have a great week everyone!  Bill Lonergan, Principal

Hello Parents & Guardians,

This past week, we concluded our statewide SAT testing.  This was the first digital version of the test to be administered and approximately 30 high schools in the state chose like CHS to do the digital version. We are looking forward to results in the summer.

We took some time this week to show some appreciation for members of our staff including AP Mike Perez and to our administrative assistants for their contributions here at CHS
