The Litchfield School Board will hold a public hearing to discuss the consideration of withdrawal and expenditure of funds from the Litchfield Building and Repairs Capital Reserve Fund, for replacement of two

HVAC units in the Litchfield School District, in an amount not to exceed $190,000, in accordance with RSA 35:1, on October 7, 2026, at 5:30 PM at Litchfield Town Hall, Two Liberty Way, Litchfield, NH 03052.

Welcome Volunteers!

Thank you for your interest in supporting our school community! Please review the requirements below based on your role before getting started. Please also review the District Volunteers Policy, IJOC.

1. Standard Volunteers (Volunteers Procedure)
For general classroom help, school events, and non-designated volunteer activities

Requirements to Get Started:

Review: Read the Volunteer Handbook
Complete: Fill out the Volunteer Confidentiality Statement and Volunteer Assurances Form
Contact: Call the appropriate school Principal to schedule a Volunteer Orientation (list below)
Annual Renewal: Volunteers must complete the Volunteer Confidentiality Statement and Volunteer Assurances Form annually

2. Designated Volunteers (Designated Volunteers Procedure)

For individuals in continuous, recurring, or unsupervised contact with students, volunteer coaches, chaperones for overnight trips, regular mentors, Student Teachers, etc.

Requirements to Get Started:

Application: Complete and submit the Designated Volunteer Application
Next Steps: Once submitted, our team will contact you directly with instructions for:
- Fingerprinting & Background Check (RSA 189:13-a)
- Required Yearly Training
Annual Renewal: Designated Volunteers must complete required training every year
