VETERAN'S DAY 2017
The Litchfield Middle School is happy to announce that we will be hosting our annual Veteran's Day Ceremony and Breakfast on Thursday, November 9th.  The ceremony will take place in the LMS Gymnasium starting at 7:45 a.m.  All students are encouraged to invite any relative who is a veteran to join us.  The Unified Arts Department will host breakfast prior to the ceremony from 7:00 to 7:45 a.m., for the veterans and the students who invited them.  If your relative is able to join us, please RSVP to Melanie Neily in the school office at 424-2133 Ext 2103, with your name and the number of people attending by Friday, November 3rd.

If you have any photos of family members who have served or are currently serving in the armed service, we would love to display them in a slide show as part of our ceremony.  Please email any photos to Amy Provencal at aprovencal@litchfieldsd.org by October 25th

Students are encouraged to participate in a writing contest honoring our veterans.  This year's theme is "Veterans: America's Heroes".  Outstanding student work will be included in the ceremony.  We are thankful LMS is able to honor the men and women who have demonstrated patriotism and courage by joining the armed forces of the United States of America.
