Hello Parents & Guardians,

Things are busy at CHS this week, but first I would like to thank Payton Musco, Teddy Douris, Harrison Vedrani, and Luke Hogan for going to GMS last week to speak to 4th graders about healthy peer relationships. Nice job guys!

Also if you were not aware, our last year’s wrestling team had its 2016 championship banner hoisted to the rafters in the Cougar’s Den last Friday. Don’t forget on Wednesday that we have a 2 hour delay for teacher professional development as we will continue working on our NEASC Self-Study process. On Saturday two events are occurring. First, the Penguin Plunge is occurring at Hampton Beach supporting the Special Olympics and a number of our students and staff will participate. While I would love to bathe in the 40 degree Atlantic Ocean in early February, I have an alternative obligation at the School Deliberative Session from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in the CHS auditorium, and I would love to have supporters of CHS there advocating for the schools. Finally, just a reminder that if you have a Twitter account, you can follow the CHS administration (@wlonerganchs, @CHScounselor17, or @mperezCHS) as we tweet out about school events and activities..

Honors Options Contracts: 

Are due in guidance by We February 15^th. Students must complete a contract for each semester.

Alvirne’s Career and Technical Education Open House - If you are interested in taking a tour of Alvirne’s Career & Tech Center, there is an open house on Wednesday, February 1st from 5:30p-7:30pm.

All sophomores will attend a CTE presentation by Alvirne and Pinkerton on Mon, Feb 13^th at 1:00pm in the auditorium.
