Litchfield School District News Article

March 6, 2017

Hello Parents & Guardians,

We are hoping all had a nice winter break, and this time between February and April break tends to be a busy time. We have had our first graduation planning meeting, but keep in mind setting a final date is still up in the air due to the numerous snow days and potential for more. As soon as a final date is set, we will quickly forward that along to the community.

Speaking of graduation, congratulations to the following students as we recognize Valedictorian Madison Taylor, Salutatorian Jess Manning, and others of the “top ten” of Class of 2017, Chris Woods, Hannah Cote, Carolyn Spaulding, Maddison Reczko, Ella Hogan, Jake Scopelites, Samantha Molinari, & Harrison Vedrani. We do have an athletics Booster’s Club meeting tonight at CHS in the library, 8th Grade Parent Night is March 7 at 6:30pm, and the administration will be here to meet with parents from 7:30-8:30 in the library after that. Looking ahead to next week, don’t forget our local elections will be held on March 14 (also a Teacher Workshop Day, so no school for students).

Have a good week!

Bill Lonergan, Principal
