Hello Parents & Guardians,Last week was a busy week at CHS, and to point out a few highlights, our Student Council students visited a food pantry in Manchester, and assisted in distributing supplies for the weekend to families. I do think we have some amazing numbers of volunteer hours both within and outside the Litchfield community. We also had our FIRST Robotics team compete at UNH Friday and Saturday, and they finished in the top four at the end of the competition, also taking the “Pit Safety Award” as well. We also had Future Business Leaders Association members from CHS attend a state-wide conference in Concord with other schools from around the state, and also about thirty students visited Manchester Community College and New Hampshire Technical Institute to see about post-secondary options at those institutions.
This week we are having a large contingent of students join our annual field trip to NYC, and I’m not sure who is more excited, the students or the staff chaperoning.
Finally, if you have time Wednesday morning, we are having our monthly “Coffee with the Administration at 7:00 am, and we’d welcome you to join Mike, Jodi, and me for that.
Have a great week everyone!
Bill Lonergan, Principal
