Congratulations to Campbell High Art
Students for their success in the Scholastic Art Awards of New Hampshire. Over
5,000 works of art and 200 portfolios were submitted for adjudication in the
2017 Scholastic Art Awards Program of New Hampshire. The program is a
prestigious statewide competition open to grades 7-12. Students have the
opportunity to earn Gold, Silver Key, Honorable Mentions, prizes, and
scholarships. The New Hampshire Scholastic Art Awards Exhibit is located at the
Stockbridge Theater on the campus of Pinkerton Academy in Derry. The exhibit is
open to the public January 23 through February 12, Monday- Friday, 9:00-4:00.
The awards ceremony will be at 1:00 PM for Grades10-12, Saturday, February 12. All are welcome to come. Upon closing of the
exhibit, all of the Gold Key artworks will be sent to the Nationals for the
adjudication this spring. Congratulations to Kelly Shattuck our Gold Key
(Digital Art) recipient. Silver Keys
were awarded to Jenna Bung (Mixed Media) and Zach Drouin (Digital Art). Nick
Glockling also received a Silver Key in Portfolio which is comprised of eight
visual artworks in Photography. Campbell
students Shelby Phillips (Painting) and Jamie Byers (Drawing) received two Honorable
Mentions. Zach (Drawing), Jenna (Drawing), Nick (Photography) also received
Honorable Mentions. The Campbell Art Department would like to thank the
Litchfield School District and the community of Litchfield for your advocacy in
the Arts.
