Hello Parents & Guardians, There is a great deal happening at CHS as we
approach the end of the year.
For a final reminder, we still have openings
for the NEASC visitation, which runs from Sunday, May 20-Wednesday, May
23.
The schedule for Sunday is as follows:
There will be a panel presentation at 1:00 that
is open to anyone to attend. At 2:00 teachers will be interviewed by the
visiting team. At 3:15, parents can meet with the team as the School
Board meets with other team members. Please contact Elana at [email protected] or 546-0300 to be added to the list (If you can’t make it Sunday, please feel free to let Elana know if you are free on Monday from 10:45-11:30.) Finally, on Sunday, there will be a welcome reception from 4:15-5:00 which is open to all.
Senior project night was held this past week
and there were some very impressive projects so congratulations to the seniors
and senior project advisors, Ryan Keller and Lynn Gnaegy.
We’d like to say thanks to the PTO for their Teacher Appreciation Week Potato and Salad luncheon on Monday as well as Friday’s apps at Mel’s and thanks for their clothing drive last Saturday which brought in almost twice the amount anticipated as they continue to fundraise to benefit our students.
We’d also like to mention Cheri Pitrone returning and assisting us coordinating the last few weeks of school as well as graduation planning. Much appreciation to her for that.
On a final note, AP exams are continuing this
week, with four exams occurring, 9th and 10th grade
students will be taking the NWEA Measures of Academic Progress, and 11th
graders will be taking the AIR science test (formerly the NECAP).
Have a great week everyone!
