Litchfield School District News Article

November 5, 2018

Hello Parents & Guardians,

Good afternoon.  First of all, I’d like to say congratulations to the boys’ soccer and to the spirit team for winning their respective Div III NH state titles this past weekend.  Great job by teams, coaches, and supporters in that effort.  Also, football won their first tourney game on Saturday and will be playing in the semi-finals this coming weekend.  This past week, students supported wearing costumes for Halloween for raising money for our Dr. Ange Award, so we’d like to thank students and staff for their support.   The Friends of Performing Arts have a fundraising “Swag Sale” ongoing until November 11 to support their upcoming trip to Jamestown, Virginia.     https://redbrickclothing.com/rbcmall/stores/store/239.  Please check out the link to support the programs.  Our IT department has passed along some information regarding frequently asked questions about technology at CHS.  Please see the following link to review: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1UscIG5A4Q8RpLSdr32olXC9FSWVodF66Xm1C89jjvMk/edit

Mid-term grades will be available on Infinite Campus tomorrow (Tues, Nov 6th) only. Also, Parent Teacher Conferences (PTC) are coming up on Monday, November 19.  The signup genius is now live on the CHS homepage.  Please sign up on the PTC portal link (https://www.ptcfast.com/schools/Campbell_High_School) on the left side of the CHS website at your earliest convenience to ensure you have a chance to see all of your child’s teachers.  So, looking forward to Graduation (Yes, Graduation already?).  Senior Graduation Cap & Gown orders will be taken on Thursday, November 15, 2018 outside the cafeteria during lunches.  The cost for cap, gown and tassel is $18.50.  If your senior wishes to purchase an extra 2019 Tassel, they will be available for purchase for an additional $2.50.  Your son or daughter should bring in either cash or a check made payable to University Cap & Gown.  You may drop the payment off in the Main Office prior to the 15th or give it to University Cap & Gown during the day of measurements.  This process only takes a minute.  If you or your Senior have any questions, please call Elana Ayer in the Main Office at 546-0300 x3204  or email at [email protected] Finally, just a reminder that the CHS PTO will be meeting Tuesday, Nov 13 at 6:30 pm in the CHS Learning Commons.
Have a great week everyone!
Bill Lonergan, Principal
