Hello Parents & Guardians,
So our big week has finally arrived with the NEASC Accreditation Visiting Team starting with us yesterday (Sunday) and they will be continuing their work through Wednesday.  It makes for a hectic week for our staff on top of their regular routines.  I do want to particularly thank the nine parents who gave up an hour of their Sunday to meet with the team.  Your perspective on how well CHS is serving your students is a significant contribution to help us more clearly identify our strengths and challenges and then begin to take concrete steps to address them.
Students Abby Gray and Maddie Trevains did a terrific job coordinating Andrea Ange’s tribute on Thursday with the guidance of Shawn McDonough.  We owe a special thanks to them and all the students involved, and her family was very appreciative of the student treatment of that event.
Most of the 130 AP exams were administered over the past two weeks and the juniors experienced the newest Science state exam this past week.
We are concluding SpringFest this week, and seniors will be continuing their pre-graduation celebration events.
Have a great week everyone!
Bill Lonergan, Principal
