Things to practice before Kindergarten
The full day kindergarten program encourages students to learn through a balance of play and academic strategies. We want to help our younger learners develop the love of learning and become lifelong learners. The kindergarten curriculum is enhanced by participating in music, library, gym and art.
The GMS Kindergarten hours are 8:25am-2:50pm.

Kindergarten students who ride the bus will disembark with grades 1-4. Staff will be on duty to assist students. If parents wish to drive, students can be dropped off in the drop-off loop from 8:10-8:20. Children are tardy if they are not in class by 8:25 and need to be signed in at the office.
Kindergarten students will ride home on the bus with students from grades 1-4. If you wish to pick up your child, you will need to send a note, including the child's first and last name and the full name of the person picking the student up. Student pick-up is in the gym. You will need photo identification in order to sign out your student.
