Food Service Information

Welcome to the Litchfield School District Department of Food Services!

We are committed to providing healthy lunches in a clean, friendly and safe environment for all Litchfield students, with a focus on health, wellness and good nutrition.

Breakfast and lunches are served in each building daily. Lunches are composed of five (5) food components: Protein, Whole Grains, Fruit, Vegetables and Milk.  Students must select one serving of fruit or vegetable along with at least 2 other meal items to qualify as a school priced meal.  Students may choose an item from all five (5) groups for the same price!  Incomplete meals will be charged a la carte prices.  The lunch staff at each school are trained to encourage students to select a complete meal before charging a la carte prices.

School lunches are priced as follows: Litchfield Middle School $2.60; Adult Meals $3.60; Milk only $.50.

Online Meal Payments

Paying for Meals

Students may pre-pay for meals by cash or check (make payable to Litchfield School District) at all schools.

Payments are deposited into your child's lunch account.

Payments for students at Griffin Memorial School should be placed in an envelope with your child's full name and teacher name.  Payments for middle and high school students can be given directly to the cashiers.

K-12 Payment Center

You may also make secure debit or credit card payments online by clicking on www.k12paymentcenter.com.

You will need your student's ID number.  Please contact [email protected] to receive it.

Set up a lunch account for your children and have the ability to make online deposits and/or view their daily meal transactions.  You can also set up your account to receive low balance alerts.

Lunch Account Balances

Notifications will be sent home on a regular basis for students with low or negative balances.  Students with negative meal account balances or who are unable to pay for a lunch will not be denied a meal, but will be offered a designated meal until the lunch balance is paid and in positive standing.  No a la carte items can be purchased with a negative balance.

Families can apply for free lunch at any time during the year at www.lunchapplication.com.
Please refer to Policy EFAA, Food Services Meal Charging.
